Father John Misty (aka J. Tillman) “Hollywood Forever Cemetary Sings”
incredible video for Fleet Foxes’ “The Shrine / An Arugment”
I know you’re only looking to pay face value, but that’s just not the market value for a sold out show like this. I’d sell the tickets for $75 each, $150 for the pair. This is below what you’d pay for similar seats on a Stub Hub or Ticket King. This way you’re at least buying from a real fan who’s trying to be reasonable and fair.

Fleet Foxes, Sim Sala Bim (Helplessness Blues)
Wow can Robin Pecknold just try for once to not rock and delight my socks off. I dare him to try. It won’t work. He’ll always make me a happy camper. This one has an Iron And Wine feel to it and towards the end of “Sim Sala Bim” I get a total The Who’s “Baba O’Reilly” vibe and I love it.
I thought my fav was “Bedouin Dress”, but I think it’s this.
Fleet Foxes “Bedouin Dress” from Helplessness Blues
From Tom Breihan’s interview today with Robin Pecknold of Fleet Foxes:
I think it will just be a different feeling instead of mellow. But positive— it will just be a different feeling from that. Different chord shapes, some extended. On the first record, I kind of wanted to avoid any extended grooves. But there’s definitely a couple of those coming in now, where the guitar part almost sounds like it could be a sample, just because it’s kind of repetitive, and then just kind of a groove built around that part.
Am I the only one who was not missing ‘extended grooves’ in the Fleet Foxes record?
nooooooooooo!!!
Blitzen Trapper perform “Big Black Bird” (MY FAVOURITE TRACK of theirs!!) with help from Fleet Foxes’ Robin Pecknold and Skyler Skjelset in Paris.

J. Tillman / Crosswinds
J. Tillman is the drummer of Fleet Foxes; his solo stuff is similar and very good.
